IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before bringing in your car:
Please make sure the outside has been washed. Few people know that even though the tint is applied on the inside, dust particles from the outside of the car can still find its way underneath the tint. This way, the end product is the best it can be.
Remember to take house and work keys off your key ring.
Let us know in advance if you need a ride to work or home as this can’t always be guaranteed if asked on the day.
Please ensure child seats are removed for access to rear windows
During installation:
We now have a dedicated client lounge, exclusively for you! Sit back and relax in our recliners and enjoy a quiet moment in front of the TV.
Sometimes, we do need to re-do a window if we are not 100% satisfied. This can take longer than the expected time frame you have been given. Please allow us time to make sure your tint is the best it can be.
We will call or text you straight after the installation process is complete so you can make your way back to us if you choose to take a stroll around town.
Expectations:
Dot Matrix are small dots the factory installs around the edge of some windows and along the back glass as a visual cosmetic border. These dots are bumps on the glass that may cause the film to stick on the dots instead of the window. This will not cause the film to peel, but will seem silver in appearance. This is normal and will not disappear.
Dust is all around us and is next to impossible to keep out of the air. This also makes it impossible to keep out of the film. However, we take every precaution to do so. Generally, if the car is older than 2 years or taken in dusty environments, more dust will appear under the film.
If you are wearing polarized sunglasses or glasses, you may see anomalies on the glass, (rainbows, lines or marks are a few examples) which are an inherent result of the glass tempering processes. Fusion Tinting is not responsible for these anomalies. If you wish to have tint removed there will be an additional fee.
Aftercare:
No winding down windows for 48 hours in summer and 72 hours in winter to ensure adhesion. It is normal for there to be moisture streaks to appear within 1 hour of installation. The water molecules group together and then evaporate through the tint or glass. If you have any concerns, please contact us after a week. This gives the water time to leave the tint.
Film is installed on the inside of the car, so please don’t use any ammonia based products for cleaning, such as Windex. This chemical will eat away at the film, causing blurring and bubbling.
If ammonia based products have been used, or any products that are abrasive, and mistreatment is visible, your warranty will be void.
It is completely normal for there to be some dirt speckles in the edges of the tint, near the rubbers, especially if the car is not new. We do our best to ensure customer satisfaction, but dirt speckles can’t always be avoided. This statement is backed by our supplier, Solar Gard.
